Electric Motorcycle- 0 to 30 in 3.8 Seconds

With a low moment of inertia and agressive rake angle, this motorcycle handles like a dream and has an affinity for changing direction. Couple that with the smooth, efficient power delivery from the electric drivetrain, and you’ve got a recipe for excitement. With 100% of it’s torque available from 0 rpm, the Enertia is certainly no slouch off the line. At it’s quickest setting, the Enertia will sprint from 0 to 30 mph in 3.8 seconds!

Top speed 50 mph. 12,000-$15,000 ships in 2008 Red more at enertiabike.com

WESC Skateboard Inspired Weights

WESC and artist Juse have teamed up to promote WESC’s current seasons theme “Lets’s get Physical”, with some skateboard wheel and axel 1lbs hand weights. Pretty odd, I know, but they look pretty cool. By the way, WESC’s website is pretty awesome.

The ultimate commuter bicycle

OptiBike There’s a company out of Boulder called Optibike which manufactures what has to be one of the best commuter bikes available. There bikes range in price from $5k to almost $8k, which is a bit steep for most people. The bikes can be peddled when you feel like getting some exercise or you can flip the switch and ride uphill via the electric motor. You can go up to 50 miles on one charge, depending on the model. Hopefully, as more people get on the “green”, saving the earth thing, we’ll start to see more products like the Optibike but hopefully with a better price tag.

Burn rubber not gas

0 to 60 in 4 seconds, 100% electric and can go 250 miles per charge. WTF! I know this is pretty old news but it’s worth mentioning. This car is stylish, fast and good for the environment. They’re only making them in small runs for now and have sold out and have a waiting list. Now, if we only had an affordable electric car.

The new convertible Saturn Sky

I got to start by saying that I’m not convertible type person. I’m really more about a pick-up. Anyway, I saw this new car for Saturn called Sky. It looks pretty darn cool. It’s 170hp, 2.4 L 4-cylinder. It’s definitely a stylish looking car.

Check it out for yourself at: Saturn Sky

With gas prices the way they are now. This would be a great bike for getting around town. I doubt you can get one in the USA yet but it’s only a matter of time.
