Creedler Credo

Footwear design is focused on aspects of style, comfort and function. Volcom fuses these aspects into a Melange known as Creedlers.

Looks to be worth checking out. Least not forget the artists that were involved: Todd Bratrud, Damien Horan, Travis “Fudge” Millard, Pinky Pop 123 and Michael J. Zepeda.

Got to Volcom.com to find out more.

Newsvine has a slick new redesign

newsvine.gifI’m a few days late with this, but I still thought it was worth mentioning. Newsvine redesigned their site, and wow they did a heck of a job. The biggest addition is now you can customize the home page based on your likes. The “modules” which can be moved around on the page, deleted or added, makes the homepage fully customizable. It’s a pretty awesome design. Newsvine is still my favorite news site. You can read my earlier writings about Newsvine, here.

Last.fm might be getting a pay day

Last.fm has been one of my favorite web tools of late. When I first discovered Last.fm, in late 2005, I didn’t quite get it. I still think they have lots of room for improvement, but overall I like the community and music tools much better than anything else out there. However, Virb.com has potential in this category, if they improve music options.

Oh, the reason that I wrote this post was to share the latest rumor. according to Steve O’Hear, Last.fm is in purchase negotiations with Viacom and the “The purchase price is said to be $450 million”.

ABC unveils full screen streaming HD

I just watched Lost on my computer in “streaming HD”. No slowdowns and a perfectly clear picture. Awesome. About two months ago I got rid of my cable and have solely been relying on the internet for my TV shows. ABC has stepped it up and hopefully the other networks will follow. Check it out.
