Bamboo Shirts aren’t hard and shiny like I thought
I guess there’s some new manufacturing process that takes the fiber of bamboo trees and turns it in to soft, like cashmere, fabric. Apparently, bamboo “absorbs and evaporates sweat in a split secondâ€, keeps you 2 degrees cooler and is is antibacterial, forever. I’m not a big hippie type, but, the planet is falling a part. Bamboo makes for a FABULOUS cloth. I recently bought bamboo sheets (from Target!) and they are sumptious. I’m also looking at some neat bamboo cloth diapers at babybambootie.com. Bamboo cloth looks like a great product from a great renewable resource.
