Ebay’s “it” campaign, been done before

Remember back around Christmas time when Ebay had that “ it” campaign? If you don’t remember you can check “it” out here.

Yesterday, I was going through a box of old stuff that I had collected over the years from my travels and Circus days. Anyway, I came across a Subway map of Toronto and noticed a ad on there for the Yellow Pages. The funny thing was that they were using the “it” slogan as well, and the map was from around 1992. The “it” was even trademarked. I guess “it” is hard to come up with an original idea these days. Even if you’re a billion dollar company.
