For “Techie” Alcoholics out there. The KegBot.

kegbot.gif
Ever wanted to know all of the details of how much you drank last night? Well…me neither. However this guy has come up with a ingenious party device called the KegBot. Basically the KegBot is a software program that hooks up to a customized Kegerator that will track how much you drink over the life of a keg. In the words of the KegBot inventor;

The kegbot is a kegerator that has been equipped with special tracking hardware and software; it runs linux. by limiting and tracking access to the product, you can find out how much people drink, how much is left in the keg, and other fun stuff.

Whenever they have a new keg they post the results live on the site. I would love to have one for my next party.

Post Secret- Great Art concept

secret.gif
PostSecret is a blog in which people anonymously submit their secrets on handmade 4 x 6 inch postcards via snail mail. Although some of the submissions are very humorous, others are very sad and some politically incorrect. After reading through all of the post cards sent in to PostSecret I began to wonder how many of the cards were made up. Some of the cards are funny but the majorty are just sad. If you have a secret that you want to get off your chest.

Boost Mobile Rockcorps

boost.jpgThis is a pretty cool thing that Boost Mobile is doing/did. They have set-up concert in six cities (Atlanta, DC, Los Angeles, NY, Minneapolis and Chicago) that feature big time bands. The cool thing about this is they are trading tickets for 4 hours of your time. Your time is used in cleaning up your city, planting trees and covering up graffiti.

It looks like they’ve been to all of the cities mentioned above except NY. If you’re in NY and want to get involved, check out their site.
